Welcome Back! We are extremely excited to begin another year at Langford Elementary School! This year promises to be a year filled with positive outcomes for all students. Our staff has been preparing for the first day of school and is committed to providing our students the opportunity to maximize their gifts and talents as they pursue their pathways to purpose. We embark on this journey with a pledge to you, our students and parents, that this will be a year of engaging, meaningful and rigorous work in our classrooms.  A strong academic foundation combined with special events and activities, certain to encourage our Langford community to be involved and stay connected!

During the 2019-20 school year, we will continue to build upon our beliefs: We Believe children come first. We believe in a learning community of respect, promoting positive character and good citizenship and We Believe the relationship between home school and community promotes student success.  At Langford, we believe in educating the whole and share a commitment that each child who is entrusted to us will receive the best of us every day.

Our staff of highly qualified professional educators and support personnel is committed to providing all students many opportunities both inside and outside of the classroom. We invite and encourage students and parents to work in partnership with us to seize opportunities in all parts of our Langford community -Academics, The Arts, Character education, and Clubs/Activities. Our hope is that through our reinvigorated Learning Community, all of our students will think of our schools as places where a community of learners come together to do interesting important work.

We look forward to a very positive and productive year together!  We extend a special yearlong invitation to our families to join us at school activities and events whenever possible.  We want and value your involvement and support in your child’s education!  Your active participation and the strong partnerships we will build are key to the success of your student.  

Please know that we highly value home/school communication here at Langford Elementary.  It is vital and plays an integral role in our students’ success.  We encourage you to contact us if/when the need arises, and to stay in the know about your child’s studies, assignments, assessments, and school activities, as well as other events and happenings.

Again, we welcome you to Langford Elementary and to our wonderful learning community.  We hope you enjoyed your summer.
