2nd grade students participated In an activity to recognize the reality of segregation/discrimination. On one day, girls were given special privileges (lining up first, reading around the room, seating choices, etc.) Boys experienced the same treatment the following day. No name calling or unfriendly behavior was allowed. Students reflected on their feelings in both circumstances.

2nd grade students participated In an activity to recognize the reality of segregation/discrimination.
