Langford Labrador Super Hero Run

The purpose of the Labrador Super Hero Run is two-fold: to continue Langford's constant effort to provide a full spectrum education for our students - mind and body - and to help raise funds for our Langford Elementary PTO.

 If you would like to know what we use the funds for, please check out the Langford PTO website @ http://langfordpto.weebly.com/. This year, we are trying to finish raising enough money to build a rock climbing wall in the Gym. This exciting event is a mini-marathon “fun run” for every student in our school. Each student will have the opportunity to run around a designated track, which will be marked around the campus.
Students will be asked to:

•  Seek sponsors for this event and write all sponsors’ names and donation amounts on the sponsor form below. 
• Place all donations and forms in the envelope and please seal the envelope before returning.  Checks should be made payable to: Langford PTO 
•  Please return the envelopes by Monday, March 19. Our goal is to have at least one sponsor per student. However, students are encouraged to get as many sponsors as possible. Parents, you are welcome to come and watch or run with your student(s) during their Related Arts time. 
• Please note you must sign in at the front office before joining us. If you would like to volunteer for Lab Run, please contact us at LangfordPTO@gmail.com. Students, since our theme this year is Super Heroes, wear your favorite hero shirt, and fly around the track to help PTO build the rock wall in the Gym! You are also encouraged to bring a water bottle with your name on it. Don't forget to wear comfortable shoes!

 AWARDS

•  Every student who participates will receive a special Super Hero prize! 
•  Each class top raiser will receive silly string to spray at Ms. Jackson, Dr. Royce and Dr. Garner on a day to be announced.
•  The single class with the highest overall collection total will be awarded the Labrador Fitness Challenge “Fun Run” School Trophy to display in their class until the end of the year Good luck and let’s get ready for some fun fitness!!
