Jackie Robinson HIT THAT BALL!

While walking down the kindergarten hall, I heard the sound of horns, children singing, and giggling. I had to take a peek. What I found was true learning taking place. The student's in Mrs. Butler's kindergarten class were fully engaged in Jackie Robinson and baseball. One couldn't help but the tap their feet and smile as the music played and the children sang. These kindergarten students were able to build their vocabulary, enjoy music from the era, as well as learn about the famous African American baseball player, Jackie Robinson.  The best part is, however, that the students were learning AND having fun!
